Rinse and drain the black beans.
Put the first five ingredients in a food processor, blend until smooth.
Add in the cocoa and baking powder.
Remove from food processor and put in a bowl to add in the chocolate chips and walnuts (optional).
Use a cookie scoop and place them on a pan with parchment paper.
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool for a few minutes.
